What is it?

The NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Global Citizenship, Service and Leadership (previously International Volunteering). Students study before they travel, serve on the trip, and reflect when they're home. It carries the same credit: 16 UCAS points, plus indicative US and European credit.

Why do it?

A service trip is one of the biggest things a family pays for. Structured study before and reflection after make sure the learning lands, and the diploma means it's recognised.

How does it work?

Before. During. After.

  1. 1 · Before

Modules 1–3, online or in your weekly sessions: Mindset, Motivation and Making It Happen.

  2. 2 · During

The trip itself: Module 4, Momentum, with at least two full days of service supervised by the host partner. No laptops needed on the trip.

  3. 3 · After

Module 5, Meaning, back home, marked by CGCS.
